And You Can't Put Clothes on a Wookie

Today's post is one of those mindless posts that makes me laugh. Two weeks ago when Hester and the boys were still staying with us, Blake and Ethan were in the front bedroom playing a video game. I think it might have actually been Ethan's turn, but Blake was playing for him to get past a certain obstacle. I was in the dinning room working on my computer, when I heard Blake say, "No Ethan! You can't put clothes on a Wookie!" I thought that was the funniest thing I had heard in a long time. The saying just kept playing in my head, "You can't put clothes on a Wookie." A few days later we had picked the boys up from school and were driving home. They were in the back seat chatting when out of the blue I said, "And you can't put clothes on a Wookie." I wasn't even sure anyone would hear me as they were absorbed in their own conversation, but Blake suddenly said, "Leelee how did you know you can't put clothes on a Wookie?" I died laughing. So my new favorite phrase is . . . you guessed it . . . You can't put clothes on a Wookie.

For those of you that are not as enlightened as me a Wookie is a Star War's character. Chewbacca was a Wookie. They look like a big Sasquatch. Here is what Wookieepedia has to say about Wookies. Anyway, next time you are bored or down, just think to yourself and smile . . . You can't put clothes on a Wookie!
